Man or woman, if the person you just started talking to just stops responding for several days, they need to at least acknowledge they ignored you for days. I get it, people are busy. If they acknowledge it with a sincere apology or something, doesnt have to be all fancy, then great! A simple, "Sorry, I was busy with xyz" can even suffice.
