I have been in my house for 20 years and have had to put very little money into it. It's been paid off for years now and I'm just stockpiling money into investments. Plus I really love my house and enjoy my property and the peace and quiet.
But I live in the middle of farmers fields in the Midwest in a very small town where everyone has big yards and its really quiet and peaceful.
