| DoesntMatter 04/12/24 10:50:27 AM #14: | no. i don't really drink soda at all anymore these days, but if i did, it wouldn't be the kind with zero calorie sweeteners. for one thing, every zero calorie sugar substitute i've ever tried just tastes weird or bad. but more importantly, they are not any healthier for you than sugar, and in some cases they are even worse. we didn't know this for a long time because there wasn't any adequate longterm studies, but just in recent years study after study have been coming out that have demonstrated that they aren't a healthier alternative like they had been claimed to be. and also that they don't even have any correlation to sustained weight loss over time.
