I think it's a reminder of why the Israel/Hamas war started... October 7th 2023. Of course, that doesn't justify the extent of the bombing (towards civilians, hospitals, children, the elderly) Hamas actively disrupts the Israel/Palestinian Authority negotiations, and has shifted towards anti-Semitic language in the past 20 years.
