They're terrified if they don't GOTV for evangelicals then they're going to see those massive swings elsewhere. But if they soften their abortion messaging, they lose the evangelicals. And unless they lean hard into (pro-) choice or at least pro-IVF, they're not going to attract the people they've disaffected with their agenda up to this point.
