I also fucked around and had all of my wisdom teeth extracted in my 30s (did them all at the same time). It sucked for about 3 days but wasn't really that bad for me, thankfully. The fucking bill was stupid but the procedure itself was fine; I went to sleep because fuck the alternative.

That said, I have mild regrets about it because on the one hand, I'm no longer chewing on the inside of my cheek but on the other, I feel that the rest of my teeth have gone to shit without them and suddenly I've had 2 crowns, 2 extractions, and 2 more crowns lined up. My teeth were never that bad with all of them in my head. It's like taking those out made the rest of my teeth more brittle or something.
