Minecraft - The End
C418
https://youtu.be/ZKT5RO-C-jw?si=nkPt9fqBDpe4HhSR

You knew it had to show up sooner or later. The End is, I believe, the longest song in the entire ranking, clocking in at a whopping fifteen minutes and four seconds. Its a medley of some of C418s other Minecraft pieces, which I didnt realize at the time, but that doesnt dull its impact for me. Over its impressive runtime, the song mostly focuses on immersive, climactic, grandiose sound that still manages to feel simple. Theres some glitch, particularly at the beginning, but the first half of the song is big ambient energy, and the second half is more subdued ambient energy. Its hard to describe The End without being reductive. I know this type of music isnt everybodys thing, so I imagine most of you wont be interested in listening, but if you go into with then mindset of this song is an experience, I think you wont be disappointed.
what a relief that this isn't... THE END for me! hahahahaha (canned laughter)

I'm pleased it landed so high. It is one of those songs where my confidence in it wavered a bit. I picked a song I thought would meet your criteria, but I also am conditioned to expect the usual "you'd only get it if you like Minecraft" sort of responses. Doesn't help that this is a LONG LOOOONG song.

But I'm relieved that it paid off well in the end for me! I find the ambience to be spacey and immersive, and even a bit eerie. The glitchiness is part of what led me to nominate it. I feel so very far away from home when I listen, apt I suppose, as this song in full plays in The End dimension, which houses the game's final boss. I didn't think much of it being a medley of sorts, but I guess this also represents the game's progression. The credits theme, Alpha, is also a long song that serves as a medley!

I don't have high hopes that others would enjoy it as much as you or I, but it is a very wonderful atmospheric piece that I really do consider an experience.
