Actually, I do have an adjacent question to the general premise of this topic: are we talking western animation specifically drawn in the west, like actual American Animators, or western shows that are outsourced to Korean studios/elsewhere like a bunch of shows from our youth? Because the 90s golden age of tv cartoons was great but I don't know if they were drawn in-house. Like I know btas was outsourced to Korean animators. Same with avatar. Tiny toons I don't know. Ducktales and Disney's other 80s-90s classic cartoons of our childhood I'm not sure.

And I kind of do agree that I loathe the 2000s/post 2000s animation style and animation itself, I think they call it callarts? Compare that with the other goofy but still great style of our cartoons like the tick or even ninja turtles
