What? FF7 released in North America in November 1997. The internet wasn't anywhere near as pervasive back then as it is now. Hell, Gamefaqs didn't even have dedicated message boards until 1999.It was september 7th 97' actually (you are thinking of the pal release). Still though, yeah internet acess still wasn't at that point where it was super common until the early 2000s when more and more families started getting their own desktop PCs. At least in north america anyway. Best we had pre-having our own PC was going to a library and maybe the like, 3 or 4 PCs that was there had dial-up internet on them.
