His death is incredibly suspect. So just playing devils advocate here, a wannabe martyr could say that, then off themselves.

Think of foreign and domestic terrorists, or political activist with a mission to prove a point at the known cost of their life.

Now don't read too deep into my post, I'm only playing devils advocate. I didn't read the article.
