Glastrier's problem (not that it's a mono-type) is that it's ANOTHER Ice-type that GameFreak decided should be slow as fuck, when Ice is such a shitty defensive typing. And it looks worse when paired with cool, fast Spectrier. Glastrier, like most Pokemon nowadays, is balanced around Doubles, where Trick Room is a powerful strategy and it was very good.
