Where the Red Fern Grows (1974) Dont let the ages fool you. Old Yeller is an absolute Disney classic. My dad sat me down when I was a very young child to watch this and its a great movie. Where the Red Fern Grows is also very good. We read the book and then watched the movie in Elementary school. Not a dry eye in the room.
