I mean it's technically possible that Trump has genuinely changed his beliefs and has changed his mind on the issue. But everything I've seen of the man suggests that he has zero principles, zero morality, and zero care for anything that doesn't benefit himself. Trump has never been anything but a detestable hypocrite. Even when I was a kid in the 80s I could tell.
