The more I play this game the more issues I have with it. Its not garbage or anything but I vastly prefer DD/DA and while some stuff is better many other things are worse, especially in what I liked in the magic and vocation departments. This feels like a sidestep instead of an upgrade and just as much is an unfinished version of the original vision as the first game was.pretty much where i'm at. wouldn't be so bad if there was a fun, meaningful endgame loop, but there's not. and the more sidequests i go back and do, the more i realize all the quests suck. go here, talk, wait a couple days, i need this and that, wait a couple days. nothing really happens. example: find the jadeite orb, okay, did bandits steal it, do goblins have it, is it lodged in a golem? nope, it's for sale right over there. okay. cool quest. epic. another example: get scalecinder from the cave outside the city. sweeeet, is it gonna be raided by enemies, is the scalecinder lost deep within an abandoned mine system? is a minotaur hoarding it? no, it's just on the ground. there are no enemies. pick it up. okay. cool quest. epic. --- Do the cedar trees still standing next to the ocean still grow? ...
