Youre most likely thinking of Shannon Szabados, and she played in the SPHL which is actually a level down from the ECHL. Her numbers there were just average, good save percentage, but over 3 goals against per game which would be unacceptable at the NHL level. And shes one of the best womans goalies ever. Problem is how huge NHL goalies are nowadays. Flyers just signed a 68 goalie and Floridas backup goalie is 66.
