Im a PC gamer and its basically the antithesis of the experience I prefer. Im used to an open platform with 1440p 120+ FPS, and the Switch is a closed platform with 720p 20 FPS much of the time (Breath of the Wild certainly chugged at under 20 all the fucking time). I never used it in handheld mode as I hate gaming on a handheld anyway, but even if I didnt, the JoyCons are absolutely godawful as controllers. The Switch has objectively the worst online / account infrastructure, and it has no achievements or trophies. So all the Switch ever was to me was the weakest console, with the least features, the worst version of every third party game, and a gimmick I couldnt care less about. The only thing to like about the Switch is Nintendos first party games, and those have nothing to do with the Switch besides them being arbitrarily held hostage to it.
