There are tons of crimes that are, in fact, not punishable by jail time. Therefore, saying something doesn't deserve jail time literally only means I think it doesn't deserve jail time.

She could have apologize and retract her review elegantly, but she even said that the product kills people on her reply. Now she must prove her word is true, or else she's guilty of defamation.
And since she doesn't looks like she'll cooperate, most likely end up in jail time.

American has twisted idea that free speech means you are immune to repercussions.
