If he cut a deal with the Taliban, Biden just had to declare the Taliban wasn't a legitimate government. Half of what he did on the first day was executive orders to undo a bunch of stuff Trump did. So no, I don't really buy the excuse that Biden had no choice to do everything exactly as it happened because Trump said we were going to do it when he was still president.
