Trump is the culmination of everything the GOP and movement conservatism have worked toward ever since racist opposition to civil right progress gave birth to the Religious Right as a political force. The GOP base is presently the most aggressively stupid and proudly malicious large group of people on the planet because that's what the GOP establishment has programmed them to be.I find it slightly amusing that for all the planning they've done, they never thought of what would happen when the true-believers got elected. Now they are jumping ship as they are losing control of the monster they created. What pisses me off most is that they will likely get away with no repurcussions while the rest of the country has to suffer and deal with the damage they've done and will keep doing. --- The ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes.
