I can understand how this is still a thing in red states (in a disappointed and disgusted way.) But wtf is up with those three states in New England?This seems to be a thing with teaching hospitals for medical students to get practice performing pelvic exams, which is very invasive. Its also a problem in Canada and who knows where else, I didnt know this was such a widespread thing myself until I stumbled across some news articles There are women who go in for routine surgery on tonsils or whatever, and then they wake up with vaginal tearing or bleeding and dont know what happened, then they get railroaded and mistreated for complaining.
