So it's in line with the original Good Times then. ??? As someone who's seen the show plenty of times through the years (family loves it), I'd love to hear what's so racist about it. Granted, JJ's character definitely went into very stereotypical direction as the show went on, but even he went through character growth. The show wasn't perfect by any means, but I never got a feeling of racism. And this show seems like it was only going for brand recognition with the name. This genuinely looks awful.
