I've been procrastinating on this project since before We Love Katamari Reroll was announced and I'm finally finished. I have combed through all of the soundtracks and attempted to narrow it down to my top 15 favorite songs and arranged them in something resembling an ordered list.
- If you're accustomed to reading a lot of B8 ranking topics, expect my commentary to be on the lower end of the spectrum. I don't have a lot of musical knowledge or technical vocabulary and I often struggle to articulate why I like a song beyond "it sounds cool". I'm also not great at identifying instruments or genres. But I tried sometimes.
- Since I started this list before WLK Reroll came out, I will be using the song titles from their original releases rather than the re-localized titles when applicable.
- I'm literally telling you up front that Katamari on the Rocks is not on this list. If you consider that to be a "glaring omission" or whatever, then this is your forewarning that you probably won't like anything on my list.
