The new series is a bit different than the old one. The old series was intended to be run in syndication so there's no real plot carryover and you can watch individual episodes any time you want. The new series seasons have that assassin's creed style modern story + main dude doing things in the past that carries over and you have to watch from start to finish to understand it (yeah I know AC doesn't really care about the modern plot anymore) Plus Ernie's character was in the original series, although played by a different actor, which I thought was cool. --- "How can.. the Prime minister.. support a law.. that makes it illegal for people.. who....What I'm trying to say is..
