In Las Vegas at most casinos valet workers have a good hourly and the hotel I was at I was making $19 an hour(which I think it was one of the highest) Tips all depend on what shift youre on but at the end all three shifts, day, swing, and grave all make roughly the same at the end of the week. Things changed when MGM properties started a charge for parking and we went from making $600+ a week in tips to about <$200. It eventually balanced out as more and more customers got used to it but it was never quite the same. I took a second job in the field of education part time and ended up liking it so much I left valet in 2022 after doing it for 20 years and now teach full time. With my degrees I make roughly the same.
