Its a constant assurance that "No, I don't experience the well documented effects of the regular use of this drug, and neither do most people! If I admitted that I did, then I would have to admit I have a problem, which is the first step in overcoming addiction, and I am just not willing to do that!" Having gone through it myself, I can only cringe at the fact that I used to be like that. --- I'm a girl.
