Perhaps off topic but I remember hearing about the use of motion controls for the wii and how rude Microsoft were to the engineers who brought forth their motion control system forward.

Then Sony too.

Nintendo was the only one who gave them a time of day and then soon after the Wii's success, both Sony and MS tried to use their own motion controls and failing.

Honestly, people shit on Nintendo all the time but I feel that Nintendo is the company that's always looking into improvement and after reading all about the way they make games, they are still the one company that looks to innovation in making video games.

Although I know Nintendo has been scummy, they are still the purest form of a video game developer.

Sony started off as the underdog but became bastardized over time.

MS never sat well with me. It always felt like a company that looked at video game development and was a bit cocky from the start.
