I don't think requiring age verification for internet porn is overreach. Stop playing word games. Many people think child protective services existing at all is overreach, so I couldn't care less about that subjective term being used as an objective measurement.

It's the job of the parents to ensure their children are not accessing inappropriate content on devices. We don't want to live in a nanny state.

There's a difference between nanny state and state that doesnt directly allow companies to profit from providing pornography to minors. We already require this at physical stores. Why should it be different for a massive online company that distributes directly into your household?

And yeah, as much as you hate it, we agree on voter ID, stop trying with this petty shit. I got nothing for the folks that think disagreeing about porn means everything we believe is the opposite. There's more to life.
