The appellate court didn't say Trump is no longer on the hook for ~$460 million. They just said he only has to pay $175 million to appeal the judgement. If he loses the appeal, then he still has to pay the ~$460 million. Interest is also still accruing. It also seems like the judge in the Manhattan criminal trial is done with Trump's delay tactics, so April 15th will likely be the start of the criminal trial. Then on April 25th, we've got the arguments for Trump's absurd immunity appeal. I think it'll take a while for SCOTUS to rule on it, but I doubt they're going to say he has immunity to commit crimes.
