It was kind of crazy how prominent the argument was. No matter how much the death toll, hospitalizations, long time side effects grew, it was always "Well actually all those people are old or have preexisting conditions! We can't shut down the world because people that are half-dead couldn't handle getting the flu!"

And the crazy shit is that a most of the anti-vaxxers and the literal majority of the fucking American population had the goddamn preexisting conditions! Yet they acted like it was a few dozen immunocompromised people that live in bubbles
