Thats partially the thinking I used to NOT uninstall games I felt there was SOME chance I might pick back up soon. I didn't want to uninstall a 50 plus gb game if I am going to wanna play it again soon and have it hit my data cap. I don't buy micro so this didn't help game companies. It actually hurt them. I passed up sales knowing I am not even going to be able to install the game now.

Luckily competing with 5g made my ISP drop data caps.

Still, this is one weird example of how 360 PS3 gen actually had it better than the last 2 gens in at least this way. You didn't even NEED the internet then. Now, unless you want to do tons of waiting you better have the best internet around. Meanwhile no cap unless you're NEVER going to exceed the cap.
