Now they become paperweights unless you have the skill and tools to pry one open and disassemble half the innards. Things like batteries, storage, screens, and even USB-C ports should be easily replaceable by the customer. How is it they're selling $1k+ devices and making them impossible for the average person to repair or upgrade?
