It skips around a lot & crucial details are missed because of the shortening though. Like someone else said, it's like 80% drama, 20% lightheartedness or comedy. It's heavy to one side because they tried to cut out a lot to just focus on the main narrative instead of side details that reinforce the character's personalities. Maybe 16 episodes at 43~ or whatever minutes a piece is too much, but at least 12 or something split up would match the pace better.
