I think its kind of interesting how we focus on the numbers with this sort of thing too. I feel its more important to consider something like lifestyle and independence.

As a man in his late thirties who has been independent for over 20 years, if I was single then I would go for somebody much younger than me who is also independent rather than somebody my age who still lives at home with their parents.
