There's 2 different kinds of reproduction strategies that are immutable and baked into biology. The first is to have a shit load of babies under the assumption that most of them will die but a few will survive and it'll be enough to keep the species going, the second is to have only a small amount of babies and then spend a lot of energy protecting them.

Sea turtles (average 110 eggs per clutch) are the former, humans are the latter, average 2.5 kids over entire lifetime.

Saying that killing your kids in some insane survival experiment is darwinism because of sea turtles is a completely ignorant statement.
