In the phonetic English version, it seems like she's legitimately unaware of what he's trying to say. In the standard English version, she's clearly playing coy and shooting him despite his surrender. There's a similar scene at the beginning of Saving Private Ryan. An American shoots two men who have their arms up and laughs about how he can't understand them.
