| kirbymuncher 03/22/24 11:53:17 PM #30: | I just read the first book over the past few days since I'd been meaning to for a while and the TV series motivated me to stop procrastinating and I was not particularly thrilled. felt like I read a plot/concept outlinefor a story rather than an actual proper novel; bbasically none of the characters have any personality and things just constantly happen out of nowhere with little warning or explanation. feels like there's probably some good core idea there but as it is the book is basically nonsense
