| Fenriswolf 03/21/24 10:10:56 PM #28: | The books are decent but I suspect the hype comes from the fact that it's pretty much China's first sci-fi blockbuster as sci-fi has been traditionally looked down upon in China. It still pales in comparison to Soviet sci-fi works like those of the Strugatsky Brothers.
