Games like Elden Ring, Tears of the Kingdom, and maybe Dragon's Dogma 2 (based on what I have seen) gives me hope that open world games can still be innovative. The rest? Hey I really like NG1 - 3 (yes even 3, despite it clearly being the worst of them). I hear Nioh 2 is a big improvement over 1 but that's the furthest I made it. I also heard Wo Long is just generally not well received overall so perhaps TN needs to step it UP.NG 1-3 is just a different era of TN I think Nioh 2 is a lot better than 1 but it you didn't like 1 it's not gonna change your mind, unless you didn't like it because of difficulty. 2 has ways to make it much easier --- Common sense says it may not taste good, but it'll make a turd. ...
