Honestly, kind of the saving grace here, as fucked as it is. If state sees a (massive) downturn in agricultural activity, it'll be a forgotten rule that will be abused by some upstart racist fuck until he gets told to stop.

This whole thing is literally just performative to make it look like they're doing something about the border crisis when in reality they'll make a small show of enforcement but reel it back before actual damage is done to the economy. The GOP backers will demand it so.
