Topic	Is Sephiroth a well written character?
wackyteen 03/19/24 12:02:41 PM #9:	I have yet to play Rebirth so maybe some stuff got addressed but I think they short changed the Nibelheim stuff in the OG, even in Crisis Core, and kind of handwave why he had his mental break so bad. Like i know he thinks of himself as an Ancient (or the heir to) after the Nibelheim incident but I feel like more explanation would have benefited as to why he wanted the Black Materia to summon Meteor to destroy the planet. <_< Maybe I wasn't paying attention but it just felt like he was doing villain things because that is what villains do. --- The name is wackyteen for a reason.
