IIRC in the Carroll defamation case they filed a motion seeking a 30-day extension to get a bond there and once that was denied it turned out they actually had signed the bond they eventually put up the day before that motion. OTOH, this is a substantially larger amount: ~450m v ~90m so it's also plausible they're actually telling the truth here. --- May you find your book in this place.
