I actually completely dislike horror and especially sci-fi but when I was growing up I had to watch what my dad was watching and yeah we always cable and movie channels so I watched virtually every popular movie of the 80s. I saw both of these in the early 80s. For what its worth Ive never rewatched them on my own as an adult because its a genre I just dont like but yeah growing up there was no way around it.
