Quite aside from the more philosophical considerations of separate but equal never being equal and trans people not being a monolithic group you can all shove in one bathroom, who's going to pay for all the extra bathrooms? Public buildings have typically been designed with men's, women's, and disabled bathrooms. The remodelling needed to accommodate fourth, trans-only bathrooms would be non-trivial to say the least. Asking today's brick-and-mortar businesses to foot that bill while they're already struggling to keep their heads above water make this one dead on arrival for sure. --- "Bothering people when they're shopping or going to work or whatever because you find them attractive makes you scum of the earth."
