I wonder if there was some history here where perhaps the father had previously taken all the more diplomatic measures to stop the bullying yet the school did nothing. It may have reached a tipping point where the father decided to take matters into his own hands.

It's wrong but as a father of a little one myself, I kinda get it.
If you read the article, which I suggest everyone do, and critically analyze it, you come upon this sentence in the article.

"An affidavit says Thomas came to the school to sign out his daughter, who was having problems with another student over photos being shared."

Surely they were innocuous "photos" of her climbing a mountain or smiling with a group of friends.

To hit it on the head here, it most likely was nudes. That's about the only reason that would warrant a parent furious enough to come in and confront a boy about his daughter.

I want people to understand that this father went into the school and probably squared up to the kid, didn't even hit him (although I'd really like to watch the 3 minute video and I'll probably look for it myself), and was aggressively telling him to apologize to his daughter.

I'm surprised he wasn't throwing hands honestly at this point. He was rather restrained. Most likely he did address the issue with the school. But the title needs to be fixed.

Father arrested after confronting kid in classroom for bullying his daughter with her nudes

This completely changes the context in my eyes. I'm surprised he didn't call police for distribution of child pornography in this case.

Now I'll eat my words if the photos are just unflattering images of his daughter for example looking messy eating in the cafeteria, but I'll be damned if it isn't nudes. That's about the only context where a parent would come rushing in for their child into a school with a restrained fury. "Photos being shared" is such a stupid phrase to use here and really confounds WHY the father was there. It really makes a big difference in justifying why he was there. It's especially stupid to be going around asking parents if a parent should confront a bully in the school. What they should be asking the other parents is if a parent should confront a bully who is sharing nudes of your child and see if anyone changes their replies. BIG difference hidden behind "sanitized language" here.

This is why people should read the articles and think critically. Most people talking about bullies and physical shit this is pretty bad and damning. I wouldn't be surprised if this slapped a terrible reputation on the girl.
