Doesn't DC have a workaround? Like, they cannot legally sell recreational cannabis products for revenue, but they can sell you a cute little pouch for like $300, then give you a half ounce of weed as a thank you gift for the customer. Yeah that's exactly it. Rec weed is legal but it can't be sold only gifted. So it either has to be a "bonus" for buying something else, or you can buy a medical card from a dispensary directly (just typing this sounds stupid as hell) and buy it there without anything else. Maryland has rec weed but the prices are ass. The real workaround to all of this though is to just go the online thca route due to the Farm Bill loophole which doesn't involve anything shady and can even be mailed through USPS (I just double checked my last order from months ago and it had a USPS tracking number) tldr the US is very stupid when it comes to marijuana.
