Topic	Why do customers think its okay to show the bar code of their ID?

I don't think op is talking about the same thing, but when u worked at Walmart they had a policy where we had to enter the ID number of the person returning an item without a receipt. They could only do it 3 times a year so one time this lady comes in and tried to change a 6 to an 8 with a marker, so I started to rub it off and she got upset with me like I was thenone doing something wrong. unbelievable.
