At least the gang members that were with him understand the situation, I think the only small glimmer of hope is that they would throw their weapons down if the state could start getting repaired. But it would take such massive regulation to rehabilitate the country that Idk if it could ever happen. The fact that American weapons are being carried about them is sad as well, which is another part of gun control that people in America don't fathom. We don't want gun control just to prevent people from being able to go to ranges or shoot cans in their backyard, but to prevent trafficking to war torn countries or areas that have had societal collapse as well.
