Battery readings are often not completely linear (like 100% to 50% will go much more slowly than 50% to 0% will), and both capacity and readings tend to get a bit wonky as the battery ages. If it's a few years old, the battery may just be wearing out. Either way, there isn't much you can/should do about it now, just go about your life until the battery capacity becomes a problem for you.
