If Remedy is wrong, I don't want to be right.
They did wrong all by themselves by selling out to Epic so on PC you can only get Alan Wake 2 on the Epic Games Store, thus guaranteeing one lost sale because I'm not touching that fucking store with a 10 foot pole. Alan Wake 1 was mid as fuck anyways.

From their CEO basically admitting they have no intrinsic value and their employees having embarrassing meltdowns, I don't think they're a company that provides an actual valuable service, but there's no way to actually quantify the effect they've had on games.
I mean the devs had to spend money to hire them as script doctors, so if they truly offer a service with no value then the devs are literally wasting money. So when Remedy says that they had to go pan handle to Epic because they got no money, and then they immediately spend money on an allegedly worthless service, I'm just thinking of that dril tweet about spending $3.6k on candles.
