So, here my general notes.

First of all, what I noticed:
PvP and PvE is wastly different.
Teams great in PvE suddenly suck in PvP. I think that's mostly because my teams usually have some kind of heal/support in there.

Matched every team against everyone else, and gave scores.
+1 for win, +1 extra for every enemy killed and -1 for the lose and deaths just the same.
If a win with 3 people killed and 2 dying, it was a +2 (+1 win, +3 kills, -2 deaths).

These tests were not that clean. Sometimes I tried a bit arround mid-experiment, sometimes I changed stuff, and most off all: Some teams are only 4 members, some are 5, some are above level 25 with new skills, some don't, and 25 can change a lot for some classes.

But still, here my teams and notes from today.

team 1
High Lord
Legionnaire
Sniper
Great Knight

the physical wall is STRONG. Pure protection
The great knight has the "watchman longspear" for "Eagle eye".
Eagly Eye + Pile Thrust == 3 true strike hits (on lowest phys def).
This just instakills every rogue, swordmaster, elvish fencer daring to stand in the front row.

Sniper alone is not strong enough to take the backline down at all, but still decent.

High lords initative buff seems strong too, but... maybe not on this team.
Struggled against magic dmg (obviously), and breaker in the backrow (hard)

Also struggled with wiping the enemy. a few kills, yes, but stomping them? never.
They won more than they lost, but they lost harder than they won.

Total score: +2

Team2
Rogue
Doom Knight
Sergant
Druid
Gryphon Master

Great.
Giving the rogue the Power belt for toughness was probably the best idea I ever had.
This fixes a lot of the issues true strike gives him, and even protects him from multihits.
No idea if Shadowbite is worth 2 AP.

But it doesn't matter. Druid + Doom Knight combo kills everything in the front they can, and Gryphon master and Sergant simply kill the rest.
Had BIG problems if the tank (rogue) still died in turn 1, but this happend only once against team 8.

Total score: +9

Team3
Prince
Viking
Berserker
Sorceress
Elven Augur

Also insane.

Init buff from prince + Elven Augur + Guard Hunter on Sorceress = a dead tank before they can act.

But even with focus sight they all need glasses.
Row dmg of viking and berserker is great, single target is part of the casters job.
If there is 3 people row, I use Sylphic wind instead as an opener.

Boom. Kills whatever it sees. Back row, front row, tank or not, doesn't matter.
Was also the only team that beat MVP team 8.

+11

Has no way of protecting the back line. oops.

Team4
Vanguard
Wyvern Knight
Warlock
Bishop

Probably the most equal team all around. Struggled a lot.
Backrow protection from Vanguard, aoe dmg from Wyvern Knight and Warlock with fire breath and lightning bolt sounds nice on paper, Burn and Stun as needed, protection and heal is also there. But the true synergy wasn't there.

Dispell and heal hurt them a lot, and I have A LOT of dispell and heal in my teams.

Fire and lightning didn't work as good as the druid/doomknight, and they didn't had the burst of other teams. I may be able to min/max this a bit so the row aoe is simply nuking their backline, or maybe I can use the dragoon spear for more burst.

-8.

Team 5
Shieldshooter
Landsknecht
Elven Fencer
Elven Archer
Elven Sibyl

uuuugh... This team needs work, and mostly the elven fencer.
For having 5 people it's terrible

it has no skills protecting others, and the fencer relies too much on dodge RNG. Probably going to buy a power Belt for Toughness too.
It just doesn't work so far. It gets destroyed too fast, and doesn't deal enough dmg.

Level 25 should fix some stuff.

Still a big plus:
Shieldshooter with quickbow.
Rapid Shot and Quick reload trigger before the fight starts, Heavy bolt in turn 1 hits hard too.
Focus on "lowest physical def" and be happy.
Probably should give her a +1 AP pendant, so she can fire something else in turn 2 too.

Sibyil gives nice support.
I just need a better idea for the elven archer and elven fencer.

total score: -11

Team 6
Feathersword
Sainted Knight
Swordmaster
High Priestess

pretty defensive team, and it shows.
Never won a single match, but usually didn't lose that hard.
Still, needs a lot of work, and needs damage even more.

I also don't get the healing tactics to work as I want.
It felt like I healed when I should deal damage, and dealt dmg when I should heal.
Swordmaster alone is just not enough here.

score: -15. worst team. But again, lvl 25 and 5th member may change things.

Team 7:

Great Knight
Swordmaster
Valkyria
Bishop

This team works great, until it doesn't.
Usually because the swordsmaster dies too soon.

Great Knight has the Silver Trident for Row Stun. This is truly strong, but... doesn't seem to work as good, probably because of support, cleanse, dispell, whatever.

Valkyria tanks more than she should be able to tank.
Swordmaster does swordmaster things. Attacking my thief, who still survives thanks to thoughness.

In PvE this team is crazy, but in pvp it didn't get the result I expected.

score: -9

Team 8:

Dark Marquess
Swordmaster
Bishop
Breaker

Breaker is broken.
Just feed it with AP and PP stuff, and hide it in the backline with a healer.

Enemy hits an ally? Buff yourself up.
Enemy hits the breaker? Strike back like a truck, and let the bishop heal up again.
Guard? Def? No one cares. Just pure brutality.

Everyone takes their turn, and and end of turn, the hammer falls, killing something. Def or guard? who cares, not the hammer.

Swordmaster and Dark Marquess are there to soften their frontline and take the hits without instantly dying, and they do this beyond good too.
Swordmaster is especially important to kill these dodgy frontliners, and dark marques is probably my broken char #2.

Only defense that worked against the almighty hammer?

Berserker with pure HP muscles.
This was the main reason why team 3 won against team 8. The frontline was able to block the attacks.

Total score: +21

Total ranking:
Team 8: +21
Team 3: +11
Team 2: +9
Team 1: +2
Team 4: -8
Team 7: -9
Team 5: -11
Team 6: -15

By now, everyone is level 25, Team 6 got some reinforcement, and I changed some of the equipment and skill settings, so I will do this again soon and am curious about the results.
